In the framework of the Enterprise Europe Network project, the InnoRenew Centre of Excellence was visited by representatives of the Area Science Park from Trieste at the invitation of the Centre for Development and Knowledge Transfer of the University of Primorska.

The kick-off and networking meeting, which took place on Monday 5 February 2024 at the InnoRenew CoE, was attended by Francesca Marchi, EEN Project Leader, and Lara Dipace and Alberto Soraci from the AREA Science Park in Trieste. The work of the InnoRenew CoE was presented by its Director, Prof. Dr. Andreja Kutnar, and her Assistant, Prof. Dr. Ana Sandak. The purpose of the meeting, which was facilitated by the UP CRPZ through the EEN project, was a first exchange of information on the possibilities of future organisation of business and research meetings and possible business opportunities.

The Director of InnoRenew CoE, Dr. Andreja Kutnar, presented a wide range of topics, projects and research work at the Institute, which were further illustrated by Prof. Dr. Ana Sandak through a guided tour of the laboratories.

After the meeting, the Area Science Park requested that a special guided visit to InnoRenew CoE for companies from Trieste be organised in the framework of the EEN partnership and under the guidance of the Centre for Development and Knowledge Transfer (CRPZ UP FM) in spring 2023, thus helping to transfer the rich research knowledge of the InnoRenew CoE to the cross-border economy and their creative-innovative entrepreneurial initiatives in the InnoRenew CoE.
