Yesterday, 11 March 2024, a key meeting took place between representatives of leading institutions in the field of entrepreneurship in Primorska. The focus was on strengthening cooperation and promoting innovative projects that will strengthen entrepreneurship in the region.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Simona Kustec, Head of the Centre for Knowledge Development and Transfer at the University of Primorska, Leon Pavlič, Head of the EEN project at the same Centre, and Edina Zejnić, Head of the EEN project at the Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Slovenia. The meeting was hosted by the Regional Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Nova Gorica, where the meeting was attended by the President Primož Černic and the Director mag. Roberta Fortuna.
The discussion focused on projects such as the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), SRC-EDIH and Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs. The participants looked for synergies of cooperation that would allow entrepreneurs in the region to access these projects. Through EEN, companies can enter foreign markets, through SRC-EDIH they can assess their digital maturity, while Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs allows for the exchange of experience and knowledge in the form of hosting “fresh” entrepreneurs with experienced entrepreneurs.
As a result of the meeting, the Centre for Development and Knowledge Transfer, in cooperation with the Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Slovenia and the Regional Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Nova Gorica, will organise a presentation of projects for entrepreneurs from the region.
All participants are looking forward to new business opportunities, sharing success stories and building a strong entrepreneurial environment in Primorska.
