UNI.MIDS 2024, the largest Slovenian festival dedicated to building an innovation community and fostering partnerships between academia and industry, will take place this October as part of the “Month of Science,” supported by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation. While the festival is co-organized by the University of Ljubljana, University of Maribor, SPIRIT Slovenia, and the University of Primorska, it is the University of Primorska, through the Center for Development and Knowledge Transfer, that will take the lead on October 15, 2024, organizing an extraordinary day filled with innovation and collaboration.
On this day, the University of Primorska will organize two key visits to Hidria Koper and Oljarna Lisjak, where participants will have the unique opportunity to learn first-hand about the technological challenges and solutions facing these prominent Slovenian companies.
Special emphasis will be placed on finding innovative solutions that will contribute to the further development and competitiveness of Hidria and Oljarna Lisjak
The event will continue with exciting presentations from Slovenian startups and researchers, who will pitch their ideas. At the innovative setting of Oljarna Lisjak, participants will have the opportunity to showcase their solutions, addressing the challenges faced by both Hidria and Oljarna Lisjak. This will serve as an opportunity to bridge fresh ideas with real-world challenges, further strengthening the University of Primorska’s role as a key connector between academia and industry.
